Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the manufacturing process, planning and execution. The role blends tactical tasking with autonomous decision making under established policies, delivering improvements while meeting quality, volume and timeliness targets.

The candidate will manage teams, leverage technical expertise to optimize workflows, and collaborate across disciplines to align on strategy and execution. A strong communicator with project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required with 3–4 years of Industrial Engineering experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 6+ years in Industrial Engineering also considered.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manufacturing engineering tasks that do not require 4-year degree. Primarily tactical responsibilities. This does not include general administrative work.
• Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited university or college with 3-4 years of experience in Industrial Engineering
• A high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Industrial Engineering.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,700.00 and $152,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
