Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an engineer to support capacity expansions, safety improvements, and Lean-driven productivity projects in manufacturing. The role partners with EHS to eliminate hazards and defines production processes, tooling, and equipment while deploying new technologies and equipment to meet growth and quality goals.

Responsibilities include implementing VCP, supporting NPI/TOW, and driving automation with Lean methodologies across the shop floor.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Two years of manufacturing experience

Job Description Summary

This role reports to the Operations Leader and is responsible for supporting business growth initiatives, including support of Capacity expansions, safety improvements, Lean, Cost Out and Productivity projects and overall manufacturing improvements.

Job Description
Essential Functions:
  • Partner with EHS team to identify processes or equipment that can be improved to eliminate safety hazards.

  • Specify and procure new equipment and tooling needed to meet production, quality and growth requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Two years of manufacturing experience.

  • OMLP Graduate
  • Bi-lingual (English-Spanish)
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are a must
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to build relationships within the company at all levels and with customers and suppliers

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
