Qualifications

• Feasibility studies on customer RFQs.
• Evaluate CAD files for manufacturing/material considerations using CAD software per ASTM/ANSI.
• Identify and implement cost-saving solutions while meeting customer quality requirements.
• Support QA/QC, First Article inspection, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Perform root cause analysis with manufacturing partners to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain industry certifications such as ISO 9001:2015 and AS9120B.

Job description

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in Solidworks, AutoCAD;
• Familiar with preparation of PPAP, C++ and VBA;
• Advanced knowledge in ISO, UL, CSA.

Responsibility:

• Receive and perform initial feasibility studies on customer RFQs.
• Evaluate customer CAD files and drawings for manufacturing and material considerations utilizing CAD software such as Pro-E and SolidWorks in line with ASTM and ANSI standards.
• Identify, evaluate and implement solutions to fulfill customer product and quality requirements and standards while enabling meaningful long term cost savings.
• Carry out project support activities which are, but not limited to: QA/QC, First Article inspection, scheduling, troubleshooting manufacturing challenges and issues, long term project growth, First Article Inspection documentation etc.
• Carry out root cause analysis in conjunction with manufacturing partners and end users to generate immediate and long-term solutions to resolve quality issues.
• Fulfill re-certification processes to maintain industry certification such as ISO9001:2015, AS9120 B.
