Job summary

Lancesoft in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Industrial Engineer for a 12+ month assignment in a manufacturing setting. The role requires analyzing labor standards, conducting time studies, and optimizing workflows to improve capacity and throughput.

The engineer will support cross-functional improvement projects, leverage Excel and Power BI for data analysis, and adapt to multiple shift-start times as needed to complete time studies and projects.

Qualifications

Job description

Title: Industrial Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC 28269

Duration: 12+ Months

Pay Rate: $45-47/hr.

On w2 Monday-Friday, Standard Shift 7 AM - 3: 30 PM Flexibility required to support start of 1st shift (6a) 2nd (2p-10p), 3rd (10p-6a), for time studies and projects? 5%. OT as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Engineering, or related technical field.
• 7+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in labor standards development, time studies, and work measurement systems.
• Experience with capacity planning, line balancing, and workflow optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and manufacturing data analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, Operations, or related discipline.
• Experience in HVAC, automotive, aerospace, or other high-volume assembly manufacturing environments.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Excellence certification.
• Experience with AutoCAD or facility layout software.
• Knowledge of ERP and MES systems.
• Strong project management and change management capabilities.
• Experience coaching and mentoring engineers and operations personnel.
