• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 2+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate across functional areas within an operation.
• Able to work extended or flexible schedule to support the business.
• Ability to work well independently, as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Preferred: Experience with Aerostructures.

Job Description: As Saab builds the new T-7 trainer aircraft in West Lafayette, IN, we are seeking an Industrial Engineer who is interested in further developing knowledge in manufacturing technology. The Industrial Engineering function will be responsible for evaluation of work measurement and workflow analysis for the establishment of standards and the utilization of production facilities. They will also develop plant and equipment layout, capacity plans, and workflow and accident prevention measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of plant facilities. The Industrial Engineer will be an integral link between the Manufacturing Engineering team and the production team in West Lafayette. Responsibilities will include:

Compensation Range

Compensation Range: $80,900 - $101,100 The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.
