Responsibilities

Develop process flows, design and draft layout of equipment, materials, assembly stations, people flow and facilities
Possess knowledge of automated assembly, robotic handling and vision-based detection/measurement fields
Ability to offer technical recommendations for warehousing solutions
Support the development and proposal of tactics to align with warehousing strategy
Provide time study and capacity analysis data
Analyze the layouts and processes to optimize material flow, labor efficiency, safety, quality, productivity and ergonomics. Develop short- and long-term solutions to problems found
Measure, establish and optimize capacity specs/targets (OEE and cycle times)
Develop documentation and procedures to ensure compliance specific to customer and regulatory production requirements and specifications
Travel as required
Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Education with the following specialties preferred: Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial
5+ years Industrial and Warehouse planning experience
Experience with 2D CAD tools such as AutoCAD etc
Knowledge in OEE, capacity planning, cycle time analysis and line balancing
Ability to analyze data for process improvements
Experience doing detailed analysis necessary to make data-driven decisions on warehouse or production line design
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specification documents
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS office
Travel up to 25% domestic and international
