Job summary

Luminator Technology Group in Plano, Texas is seeking an Industrial Engineer to improve manufacturing performance, maximize productivity, and support business growth. You will lead process improvements, analyze production data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn insights into action.

This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, with a solid foundation in ERP planning and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Minimum 1-2 years plus in a supervisory role.
  • Prior experience with ERP environments and planning in database tools required.
  • Financial modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Drive daily production performance by planning, prioritizing, and optimizing manufacturing schedules to achieve production, quality, and delivery goals.
  • Analyze workflows and production processes to identify bottlenecks, eliminate inefficiencies, and implement solutions that improve throughput and operational performance.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste, increase productivity, and enhance overall manufacturing effectiveness.
  • Ensure operational readiness by partnering with maintenance teams to keep equipment running safely, reliably, and at peak performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production teams, providing ongoing training, performance feedback, and support to foster employee growth and engagement.
  • Set the tone for operational excellence through daily communications, team huddles, and clear alignment around goals, priorities, and expectations.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and safety that empowers employees to deliver their best work every day.
  • Champion product quality by monitoring production processes, conducting audits and inspections, and driving corrective actions when needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, and other stakeholders to investigate issues, resolve defects, and ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Promote a safety-first environment by enforcing safety standards, conducting audits, and proactively identifying opportunities to reduce workplace risk.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards while maintaining operational integrity.
  • Leverage data and performance metrics to monitor output, downtime, efficiency, and waste, translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and reporting, including production activities, equipment performance, and workforce data to support informed decision-making.

Role will be located onsite at ourPlano, Texasheadquarters.This position requires U.S. Citizenship and is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

What You’ll Do

Position Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field highly preferred, but not required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Prior experience with ERP environments and planning in database tools required.
  • Financial modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel
  • Must be proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word and PowerPoint.
