Job summary

Harley-Davidson Motor Company is seeking an Industrial Engineer for our Tomahawk, WI plant to optimize facility efficiency and safety. You will work with stakeholders to apply basic industrial engineering concepts such as capacity planning, ergonomics, and process standardization while aligning with Quality System standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; internship/co-op experience in manufacturing is preferred, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Internship or Co-op experience in a manufacturing operations preferred.
• Familiar with MTM-based standard data and systems, capacity planning and manpower planning.
• Knowledge of PC applications such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify the level of human and capital assets required for given schedules and product mixes while maximizing workflow and floor space utilization.
• Own plant capacity model and updates as required.
• Demonstrate willingness to accomplish tasks through actively engaging work group members in identifying and resolving issues using the H-D Continuous Improvement System and projects.
• Find ways to continuously improve processes and responsibilities pertaining to the position.
• Prepare process documentation which conforms to Quality System standards.
• Serve as support resource for pack rotation group including sampling new packaging, standardized work, and SAP part setup.
• Participate in design of in plant parts racking.

Job Summary

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
