Harley-Davidson Motor Company in Tomahawk, WI seeks an Engineer Manufacturing to enhance assembly manufacturing by ensuring tooling, documentation, and equipment meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. You will support New Product Launches and drive day-to-day improvements.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years related experience; a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering is preferred; Lean manufacturing and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• Lean manufacturing techniques and problem-solving skills required.
• Detail process planning including work balancing, standard development, ergonomics, and gaging.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and CAD/PC applications beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and training in new process development and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with product engineering to design parts for manufacturability.
• Deliver productivity improvements to reduce cycle time.
• Reduce overall costs through tooling and process improvements.
• Develop robust processes, tools, and gauges to minimize variation.
• Ensure processes meet Harley-Davidson quality, ergonomics, and safety standards.
• Support systems to achieve continuous improvement and world-class quality.
