Job summary

Magna International is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Moore, SC to analyze inventory and optimize management strategies. You will lead continuous improvement using Lean methods, reduce waste, and improve visibility with SAP MM/EWM, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.

You will conduct time studies, support automation initiatives, and drive cost-saving projects aligned with Industry 4.0 goals. A Master’s in SCM/Logistics is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in SCM/Logistics required.
• Experience analyzing and optimizing inventory management.

• Lean, Kaizen, and time study experience preferred.

Responsible for implementation and optimization of SAP WMS solution; implementation and management of Plan-For-Every Part system; continuous improvement project for cost reduction initiatives; time and motion study analysis for internal logistics planning; responsible for cost analysis and planning for implementation of automation initiatives to help transition to Industry 4.0 and 5.0 goals; use AutoCAD software for design and development of organization processes; capacity planning for the facility with the help of data analysis; packaging management and packaging improvement initiatives; internal logistics planning and management; responsible for APQP process for all changes related to process, material flow, packaging and presentation; and data analysis of complex data sets to analyze and evaluate to make decision for process improvement. Requires a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics or Supply Chain Management and 6 months of related experience as an Industrial Engineer, Supply Chain Specialist, Supply Chain Analyst Intern or Supply Chain Intern.
