Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer with automotive domain experience in Illinois. The role focuses on leveraging Power BI for data analysis, leading Lean initiatives, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

The candidate will design and implement SOPs, perform time studies, conduct line balancing and VA/NVA analysis, and develop dashboards to monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in Industrial Engineering in automotive industry.
• 3+ years experience with Power BI.
• Automotive domain experience.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience in Time Study, Line balancing, VA/NVA analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Layout Planning (AutoCAD).
• MODAPTS experience a plus and continuous improvement project exposure.
• Power BI proficiency for data analysis and reporting.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and process improvement methodologies.
• Develop and implement SOPs.
• Design and improve manufacturing systems to boost efficiency.
• Conduct time studies and work measurements for labor and process improvements.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs reports.
• Use data to drive decisions and improvements.
• Lead projects on process optimization and efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-departmentally to hit goals on time and budget.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and cost-saving opportunities.

• Must have 7+ years experience in Industrial Engineering worked in automotive industry
• Must have 3+ years experience with Power BI skills.
• Must have Automotive domain experience
• Candidate should also have good project management skills
• Should have experience in Time Study, Line balancing, VA / NVA analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Layout Planning (AutoCAD)
• Good to have MODAPTS experience and he should have worked in Continuous improvement projects.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Utilize Power BI to collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Design and improve manufacturing systems and processes to increase efficiency.
