Job summary

Dauch Corporation, a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join the Minerva, OH production team. The role focuses on developing labor standards, improving workflow, reducing waste, and implementing work-improvement programs on the factory floor.

You will analyze work samples, study process flows, and train operators and supervisors to sustain performance gains. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and at least one year

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop labor standards by analyzing work samples and methods; measuring work performance.
• Improve labor utilization by studying work methods; testing modifications; designing new methods; recommending job restructuring.
• Improve workflow by studying process flow charts; recommending modifications in workflow, work stations and product; developing new procedures; recommending equipment modifications and purchases.
• Reduces waste by studying methods, equipment, and operator techniques; recommending changes; identifying and analyzing waste.
• Implement work improvement programs by conferring with management and engineering staff.
• Prepare work-analysis information and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
• Complete work improvement projects by training and guiding operators and supervisors.
• Maintain operations guidelines by writing and updating policies, procedures and methods.
• Protect organization value by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
• All other duties as assigned.
