Job summary

Dauch seeks an Industrial Engineer to join our team in Bowling Green, Ohio. This fully onsite role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring high-quality production in an automotive environment.

You will analyze workflows, design production systems, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence. Responsibilities include developing optimized layouts, conducting time and motion studies, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Design and implement optimized production layouts, workstations, and material flow systems
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work and improve labor productivity
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs
• Support new product launches by designing efficient production processes and validating line readiness
• Monitor KPIs such as throughput, cycle time, and utilization to drive performance improvements
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives related to labor, materials, and equipment
• Evaluate equipment, tooling, and automation solutions to enhance productivity and safety
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
• All other duties as assigned.
