We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support manufacturing operations by conducting time studies, validating ERP standards, maintaining accurate product data, and driving data remediation initiatives. This role is critical for optimizing shop floor productivity, ensuring ERP data integrity, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed time studies to establish labor standards, improve efficiency, and identify process optimization opportunities.
- Review and validate ERP standard data (BOMs, routings, work centers, cycle times) to ensure alignment with shop floor practices.
- Maintain and update product standards for manufacturing processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency across product lines.
- Lead ERP data remediation projects to clean, correct, and validate master data, eliminating errors and redundancies.
- Collaborate with operations, production, and supply chain teams to identify gaps between system standards and actual shop floor execution.
- Document process flows, work instructions, and SOPs related to ERP and product standards.
- Analyze productivity, capacity, and cost data to support decision-making and operational improvements.
- Assist in ERP upgrades, implementations, or revalidations by ensuring product data and time standards are current.
- Support lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and process improvement projects to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Provide training and support to shop floor and office staff on proper ERP usage and standard maintenance practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or manufacturing operations.
- Hands-on experience conducting time studies and developing standard operating procedures.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Familiarity with BOMs, routings, work centers, and labor standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Prior involvement in ERP data cleanup, remediation, or system implementation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines.
