Job description

The Industrial Engineer we want has shipped Python to production, broken it, and learned more from the second part than the first. Take stock: $71,000 - $93,000, internship, 5 years of AWS, and a mid-level title that grows teeth as you prove yourself.

Key Responsibilities

• Reach into legacy Networking modules and leave them cleaner than you found them
• Lead the AWS migration that finally retires InnovateNow's forever-learning legacy stack
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ship features end to end
• Track and report on key performance metrics for technology services
• Champion engineering excellence and continuous learning within InnovateNow
• Scale InnovateNow's Kubernetes services from Detroit pilot to MI-wide rollout
• Write the Python integration tests that catch regressions before Detroit, MI ships them

What You'll Bring

• A point of view, held loosely and defended well
• Flexibility to adapt your approach as business needs evolve
• Hands-on technology experience that holds up to follow-up questions
• A communicator who can disagree without making it personal
• Willingness to relocate to Detroit, MI, or to make remote work

Three things define InnovateNow: a Detroit address, a ruthlessly-focused culture, and a near-religious devotion to Networking. Decisions at InnovateNow come with a name attached, because ownership without accountability is just noise.

We offer $71,000 - $93,000 and the things money cannot fake, real mentorship, lasting benefits, and flexibility you will actually use.
