Jabil in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an Industrial Engineer to plan, analyze, and optimize equipment layout, workflow, and workstation moves to improve efficiency and reduce waste. You will collaborate with multiple departments to reorganize processes, update master drawings, and support cost-effective manufacturing improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering with 1+ year of related experience, and familiarity with lean methods, time studies, and AutoCAD/MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering is required.
• 1+ year of industrial engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with time studies and lean manufacturing methods is desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and optimize equipment layout, workflow, and workstation moves to maximize resource utilization.
• Support coordination with departments to reorganize processes and space allocations.
• Create and maintain master facility drawings and space allocation reports.
• Conduct time studies and support continuous improvement initiatives (kaizen) to reduce waste and cost.
• Assist in pre-production and new launch builds with DFM/A feedback to customers/design teams.
