Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks an Industrial Engine Field Technician to diagnose and repair prime power and standby power systems, including generators, switchgear, and control panels. Travel to customer sites and work in shop environments are expected.

The role requires engine knowledge, safety compliance, and the ability to meet DOT requirements. Overtime and weekend work may be required to support customers and ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.
• Must complete necessary paperwork for Motor Vehicle Record check and Driver Qualification File.
• Must pass a driver's physical and maintain tool requirements.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and repair prime power and standby electrical power installations.
• Understand and work with automatic start/stop controls, safety shut-downs, switch gear, and circuit breakers.
• Repair and maintain diesel, gas, and marine engines; service generators and component parts.
• Safely assemble/disassemble equipment per manufacturer specifications; complete service reports.
