Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., the local Caterpillar dealer, is seeking an Industrial Engine Field Technician to join our service team. You will diagnose, repair, and service diesel and natural gas engines for petroleum industry customers, both in the field and in our shop.

The ideal candidate has training or experience on industrial engines, CDL, ability to lift 50 lbs, and readiness for after-hours support to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL and ability to pass driver’s physical.
• Graduate of a technical school or equivalent, or relevant experience.
• Experience with diesel, natural gas engines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel, gas, and marine engines.
• Safely assemble and disassemble equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Repair and maintain temperature control and air compression equipment.
• Provide accurate service reports and complete work orders.
• Meet DOT physical and licensing requirements.
• Work overtime as required and maintain tools.
