Job summary

Athletic Training Solutions in Abilene, TX is seeking a contracted EMT to respond to on-site medical emergencies in a fast-paced industrial setting. This hourly, full-time position requires rapid assessment, basic life support, and coordination with EMS when needed.

You will maintain medical documentation, ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance, and participate in safety initiatives. Expect a 40-hour weekly schedule with 4 days on / 3 days off, including some weekends.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-B or higher certification (National Registry, or state-specific).
• Minimum one (1) year 911 experience.
• Valid CPR/AED certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
• Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols.
• Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to various client locations.
• OSHA Recordability and worker’s compensation a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and employees.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to on-site medical emergencies, injuries, and illnesses.
• Assess patient condition and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) care.
• Administer first aid, CPR, AED, and other emergency interventions within scope of practice.
• Stabilize patients for transport and coordinate with EMS when escalation is required.
• Complete detailed incident reports and medical documentation in required systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies.
