Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a skilled electrical maintenance technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on ride, show control, and electrical systems across the resort. You will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and show quality.

The role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, experience with electro-mechanical systems, and the ability to work from high lifts and restricted spaces, following OEM

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical systems, including hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance per OEM and UO Engineering specs, including changing time-limited parts and calibrating equipment.
• Install, service, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures and components; conduct electrical tests and inspections.
• Repair equipment to address safety, reliability, or show quality issues; ensure proper grounding per specs.
• Troubleshoot down to failed components using test equipment, schematics, and prints; address root causes.
