Job summary

Winland Foods is seeking an Electronics Maintenance Team Member to ensure reliable operation of plant equipment, troubleshoot electrical systems, and support automation projects. You will work with voltages up to 600V and collaborate with teams to improve safety and efficiency.

You'll perform preventive maintenance, participate in multi-craft tasks, and document procedures, ensuring compliance with GMP, OSHA, and food safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two years of technical college/industrial electrical experience preferred.
• Rockwell Automation classes are a plus; over five years of industrial PLC/electrical experience.
• Associate degree in Electronics or Electromechanical Technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safe Equipment Operation & Maintenance: install, troubleshoot, and upgrade motors, drives, PLCs, and machine controls while following safety standards.
• Product Handling, Quality Control & Inventory Management: coordinate thermal scans and maintain electrical system documentation.
• Food Safety & Sanitation Compliance: follow GMP and SOP standards and support QA calibration.
• Team Collaboration, Leadership & Training: train on relay logic, motor troubleshooting, VFDs, and PLC programming; support continuous improvement.
• Documentation, Communication & Continuous Improvement: test motors/circuits; manage plant IT hardware and SAP terminals.
