Job summary

Winland Foods seeks a skilled Electrician to maintain and repair industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and automation hardware. You will perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and project work in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring safety and food-safety compliance while supporting continuous improvement.

The role requires strong problem-solving, adherence to GMP/OSHA standards, and collaboration with QA, maintenance, and IT teams.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required, plus two years of technical college or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
Five+ years of industrial PLC and electrical experience; associate degree preferred.
Certified Rockwell Automation classes are a plus.
Strong knowledge of electrical theory and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

Safe equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of motors, drives, PLCs, and machine controls.
Maintain documentation including single-line diagrams and calibration procedures.
Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, and food safety standards; support arc flash and LOTO procedures.
Provide electrical safety training and collaborate on plant projects.
Work with SAP terminals, IT hardware, and plant infrastructure as needed.
