Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician - Sign-On Bonus

About Novolex: We are a leader in packaging innovation, offering products made from paper, plastic, and sustainable materials for various markets including food, retail, health, and industrial sectors.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades, and modifications to industrial equipment and facilities, maintaining detailed records.
  • Service and maintain equipment such as motors, gearboxes, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other production machinery.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and equipment, including hardware and software components like PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and more.
  • Fabricate parts, perform welding, cutting, machining, and assemble/disassemble electro-mechanical systems.
  • Ensure safety standards and regulations are followed, including OSHA, NFPA, and NEC.
  • Work independently and efficiently under pressure, maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, schematics, and drawings.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, Lock Out Tag Out procedures, and machine safety.
  • Own basic SAE and metric tools; extrusion and printer experience are pluses.
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, work at heights, and operate forklifts and lifts.
