Job summary
Orion Group seeks an experienced Industrial Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Gainesville, GA. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of automated production equipment, combining electrical and mechanical tasks with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and involves reading schematics, keeping accurate records, and supporting facility systems.
Qualifications
- Degree, technical certification, or equivalent training in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics/Mechatronics, or related discipline, or 3+ years' maintenance experience.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting within manufacturing.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC, and industrial automation.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
- Support installation, commissioning, and startup of new machinery.
