Job summary

Campbell Soup Supply Company’s Stockton, CA tomato processing facility is seeking an Industrial Electro-Mechanic to maintain, repair, and optimize critical equipment and systems. You will support a large-scale food manufacturing operation, focusing on steam systems, turbines, boilers, pumps, and drive systems to ensure safe and efficient production.

The role requires a high school diploma and advanced mechanical maintenance experience, with strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, food processing, or similar environment.
• Strong experience with steam systems and steam turbines, evaporators, gas-fired boilers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems to the component level.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and industrial safety practices.
• Welding experience including stick, MIG, TIG, brazing, and oxyacetylene cutting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul mechanical equipment throughout the facility.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment failures using schematics, manuals, blueprints, diagnostic tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
• Inspect equipment during operation and identify issues through observation and performance monitoring.
• Maintain and repair steam systems, steam turbines, evaporators, condensate systems, and gas-fired boilers.
• Repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, chains, sprockets, gears, and drive systems.
• Work welding and fabrication tasks including stick, MIG, TIG, oxyacetylene cutting, brazing.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols.
• Provide guidance and support to production personnel and teammates as needed.
• Work seasonal overtime as required to support facility operations.
