Job summary

EFCO Corp. is seeking an industrial electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in our Des Moines area facility. You’ll follow electrical codes, work safely, and support continuous production by preventing downtime.

Proficiency with schematics and diagnostic tools is required. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing infrastructure, preventative maintenance, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must pass an electrical aptitude test.
• Minimum of 1 year in a related electrical field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in machinery and control systems.
• Install electrical infrastructure in accordance with codes and safety standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Document work orders, logs, and schematics; keep records up-to-date.
