Job summary

Ball Corporation seeks an Industrial Electrician Technician to maintain and improve electrical systems powering our manufacturing operations. You will work with high-speed production equipment, automation, and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations while minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing electrical systems, supporting PLCs and automation equipment, diagnosing issues, and documenting schematics and maintenance records.

Qualifications

  • Four or more years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical training or certification in Electrical Technology or a related field, with knowledge of NFPA 70E safety standards.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical systems, automation controls, PLCs, motors, VFDs, and related equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, schematics, maintenance records, and communication across shifts and departments.
  • Follow and promote all safety standards, policies, and procedures, including NFPA 70E requirements, while supporting team training and development initiatives.

  • Four or more years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical systems, automation controls, PLCs, motors, VFDs, and related equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Starting Hourly Rate:$44.13 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.

  • Onsite Work Environment:This requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site. Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
