Job summary

Bunge Morristown, IN is seeking an Electrician for our soybean processing facility. The role covers electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment, installing and repairing electrical systems and components for industrial machinery per codes, manuals, blueprints, and diagrams, using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.

Schedule is Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm, with some on-call hours. Join a team focused on safety, reliability, and efficient operation of critical processing

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience is required.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman certification or equivalent.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Willing to work overtime and flexible hours.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring and conduit for new machines per blueprints.
• Connect power to machines and route cables.
• Diagnose transformers, motors, lighting; replace damaged wires.
• Test machinery and coordinate with maintenance and engineering.
• Replace faulty components like relays, switches, motors.
• Operate programmable controllers for automated equipment.
• Test for malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Plan wiring layouts for buildings.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic parts as needed.
• Collaborate with electrical contractors.
• Prepare project material lists for procurement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
