Job summary

Canfor Southern Pine in Moultrie, GA is seeking an Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems in our modern sawmill. You’ll troubleshoot, install, and service equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operation and minimal downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday with weekend rotation. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years as an industrial electrician, strong knowledge of electrical schematics, the ability to work physically demanding

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with operations staff.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial setting is a plus, safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems to minimize downtime.
• Install new electrical systems, machinery, and equipment as needed.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations.
• Recommend upgrades to improve systems and processes.
• Keep detailed maintenance and repair records.
• Collaborate with mechanics and production staff to ensure smooth operations.
