Job summary

Qualifications

• Oregon license required for electrical work.
• Understanding of industrial electrical safety, MCCs, three-phase power, conduit, lighting, and related systems.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and their programming is desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints and circuit diagrams for industrial installations.
• One year of recent related work history; mill experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing facility.
• Maintain components to control machinery, including switches, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and interface units.
• Identify hazards and correct electrical defects to ensure safety.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Inspect motors, panels, transformers, and lighting; read blueprints and schematics.
• Install conduit and pull wire; ensure efficient, safe plant circuits.
• Troubleshoot sensors, encoders, and vision systems; support process improvements.
