Job summary

Johns Manville in Waterville, OH is hiring Industrial Electricians to inspect, install and repair electrical systems across the plant. Journeyman card or equivalent experience is required; PLC troubleshooting, AC/DC drives and instrumentation knowledge are valued.

Must pass drug screening, background check and aptitude test; willingness to work any shift (including 12‑hour rotations). The Waterville facility focuses on direct melt glass fiber products and related materials.

Qualifications

• Journeyman card or equivalent experience.
• Troubleshooting PLCs, with AC/DC drives and basic instrumentation.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical equipment (multimeter, megger, etc.).
• Basic computer skills and ability to read technical prints, charts and diagrams.
• Working knowledge of SAP or CMMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, assemble, install, and repair electrical AC/DC circuits, instrumentation, switchgear, motors, and other electrical equipment throughout the plant.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks as prescribed by Plant Supervision.
• Aid Plant Mechanics and Operations personnel in resolving day-to-day equipment problems.
• Collaborate with team members and handle daily responsibilities independently.
• Adhere to Johns Manville safety procedures and policies.
