Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a qualified Electrician in Oregon for factory floor electrical work and robot systems integration. You will read hardware and ladder logic prints, troubleshoot PLCs and servo drives, and support robotics equipment such as Fanuc, ABB, and Kawasaki on the production line.

You must have completed an apprenticeship or have substantial equivalent experience, with ability to work overtime and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a bona fide apprenticeship or 8 years of related experience.
• Proficient reading of hardware and ladder logic prints.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and robotic systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret hardware/ladder logic prints to troubleshoot systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Square D, ControlLogix) and servo controls.
• Work with robotics equipment (Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki) and related hardware.
• Maintain safety rules and work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on the shop floor.
