Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is assisting a Hastings-based manufacturer in recruiting an experienced Industrial Electrician for the 1st shift.

You will maintain and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, robots, conveyors, and PLC-controlled systems to maximise uptime and support continuous improvement. The role requires a Journeyperson Electrician license or equivalent and 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with industrial electrical experience.
• Journeyperson Electrician license or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams; basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CMMS and safety procedures (OSHA/NFPA 70E).

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial electrical equipment and systems.
• Support preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades, and new installations.
• Diagnose faults in motors, relays, sensors, and control panels; repair as needed.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, guards, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Document repairs and maintenance in the CMMS; maintain clean, safe work area.
