Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners client seeks an Industrial Electrician in Hastings, Michigan to maintain and repair automated manufacturing equipment and facility electrical systems. You will install, troubleshoot, and service electrical components, work with robotics and PLCs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Journeyperson Electrician license preference, 1–3 years of industrial electrical maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and adherence to safety standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Journeyperson Electrician license preferred.
• 1–3 years industrial electrical maintenance preferred.
• Experience with low- and high-voltage equipment.
• Able to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• CMMS experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of OSHA/NFPA 70E safety requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Install power distribution wiring, conduit, trays and services for equipment.
• Wire, commission and support robots, conveyors and PLC systems.
• Connect control wiring and field devices between machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults in motors, relays, switches, sensors, and transformers.
• Repair electronic components including PCBs and control modules.
• Document repairs and PMs in the CMMS.
• Assist with commissioning, upgrades, and continuous improvement.
• Read schematics, blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment and follow LOTO procedures.
