Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL is seeking an Industrial Electrician to maintain plant power systems and perform medium- and low-voltage installations across our facilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical systems, adherence to NEC/NFPA, and ability to read blueprints. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate outages with Facility Services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• Experience repairing and maintaining electrical systems with NEC/NFPA compliance.
• Experience modifying motor windings for directional, speed, and voltage needs.
• Ability to work with live voltages up to 600 volts with proper PPE.
• Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift as per bargaining agreement.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain medium- and low-voltage power distribution, motor control centers, generators, transformers, ATS units, and lighting controls.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics and work orders.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, pumps, cranes, hoists, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults, conduct root-cause analysis, and comply with NEC/NFPA and hot-work permits.
• Coordinate with Facility Services to prioritize work requests and outages.
