Job summary

GEOTEK LLC in Stewartville, MN is hiring an Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across our industrial facilities. You’ll work with high- and low-voltage equipment, motors, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe, compliant operation.

Requires a strong foundation in electrical theory, NEC/NFPA 70E safety, and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license as required by local regulations.
• 3+ years of industrial or maintenance electrical work.
• NFPA 70E, OSHA safety certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors and wiring.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using test instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Install/configure PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Maintain maintenance records in CMMS and report accurately.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on reliability initiatives.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Follow lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
