Job summary

Novolex in Yakima, WA is hiring an Industrial Electrician to install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with production, maintenance, engineering and safety teams to improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, knowledge of PLCs/VFDs and the ability to read schematics. Shift is 5 AM–3 PM, four 10-hour days, with alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or apprenticeship in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance or related field required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification preferred.
• NFPA 70E certification and Arc Flash Training beneficial.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Support production operations by ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Document repairs and parts usage in CMMS and communicate status to teams.
