Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an experienced Electrician to join the maintenance team at our Kansas City facility. You will perform electrical tasks on automotive production lines, troubleshoot robotic systems and PLCs, and ensure safety standards are consistently followed.

Qualified candidates have completed an apprenticeship (or equivalent experience) and can read schematics and ladder logic. The role requires teamwork, reliable attendance, and flexibility to work variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or a combination equivalent to an apprenticeship.
• Proficiency reading hardware and ladder logic prints; troubleshooting electrical and robotic systems.
• Working knowledge with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Square D, ControlLogix) servo controls and VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tasks on automotive production lines and stations.
• Troubleshoot robotic systems and PLCs to diagnose faults and implement fixes.
• Follow safety rules, maintain good attendance, and work in a team environment.
