Job summary

Kokosing Construction Company, Inc. in Ohio is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support production operations at asphalt plants and terminals, performing installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on PLCs, motor controls, MCCs, and control circuits.

You will read drawings, install conduits, diagnose problems, and move between sites as needed, with safety training and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Working knowledge of relay logic, PLC controls, motor controls, and MCCs.
• Experience bending and installing rigid conduit, EMT, and PVC conduit up to 4 inches.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems.
• Perform electrical upgrades and complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, relay logic, motor controls, and MCCs.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, job specifications, and construction documents.
• Bend and install rigid conduit, EMT, and PVC conduit up to 4 inches, including underground installations.
• Diagnose electrical problems and make repairs with minimal disruption to plant production.
• Work independently or as part of a larger project and maintenance team.
• Move between plants and assignments based on production and maintenance needs.
