Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support production operations at asphalt plants and terminals in Columbus, OH.

The role covers electrical installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple sites. Typical duties include reading electrical drawings, wiring conduit, troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, and coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize plant downtime.

Qualifications

Experience reading electrical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of relay logic, PLC controls, MCCs.
Experience bending/installing rigid conduit, EMT, and PVC conduit up to 4 inches.
Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to work safely with limited supervision.
Ability to pass company drug and alcohol screenings.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems.
Perform electrical upgrades and complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, relay logic, motor controls, and MCCs.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, job specifications, and construction documents.
Move between plants and assignments based on production and maintenance needs.
Complete work orders, inspection forms, and other required paperwork.
