Job summary

PepsiCo in Cedar Rapids is seeking an Electrical Controls and Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot and maintain a wide range of electrical controls in a busy manufacturing setting. You will work with Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and related equipment, ensuring safe, reliable production.

The role requires an associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or 5 years’ experience, strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and willingness to work varied shifts in a 24-hour operation with training

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or 5 years' experience.
• Strong Rockwell PLC/HMI experience.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures and hazardous environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical controls and systems in manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, and Rockwell components.
• Maintain 120/208, 277/480 V systems; assist with 13,800-volt systems.
• Support extrusion, material transport, and weighing systems.
