Job summary

Sandhills Global is seeking an Industrial Electrician in Lincoln, Nebraska to maintain and repair production equipment and control systems within our facilities. You will apply electrical theory, troubleshoot complex electrical issues and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

The role requires reading electrical prints, performing preventative maintenance, adhering to safety procedures, and supporting vendors with Siemens drives and PLC controls.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more work experience as an electrician preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and various electrical systems
• Journeyman’s license preferred, but not required
• Apprenticeship or degree completion with electrical field preferred
• Commitment to adhere to all safety procedures, legal regulations and guidelines

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment and control systems.
• Perform scheduled, preventative and predictive maintenance to identify potential problems.
• Collaborate with colleagues, Management and outside vendors to install or maintain electrical or power systems.
• Read electrical prints and troubleshoot electrical issues.
