Job summary

ProAmpac, a leading global flexible packaging company, seeks a maintenance professional in Wisconsin. Responsibilities include electrical/mechanical work, CPI, PLC troubleshooting, and ensuring ISO/BRC/GMP compliance.

The role offers paid training, a climate-controlled environment, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will work with an experienced maintenance team to support quality production, read schematics, perform calibrations, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Electromechanical Apprenticeship completing preferred.
• Journeyman level in HVAC/electrical/mechanical is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed specifications.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support a collaborative environment.
• Understand and apply knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Adhere to ISO, BRC and GMP food safety standards.
• Read technical drawings, schematics and diagrams.
• Document technical information with sketches, calculations and graphs.
• Measure electrical, mechanical and fluid parameters with appropriate tools.
• Assemble, repair or calibrate electrical/mechanical components following procedures.
• Understand overall machine operation and control.
• Wire and assemble electrical components per layouts.
• Troubleshoot control panels using electrical skills.
• Test instruments for continuity and performance.
• Analyze test results and adjust or repair instruments.
• Calibrate instruments to specifications.
• Identify faulty equipment through testing and observation.
• Show persistence with complex problems.
• Assess condition of parts with micrometers/calipers.
• Apply control programming languages to PLCs.
