Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking an on-site Electrical Technician at Corteva’s St. Joseph, IL location to maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems, ensuring high uptime and strict safety adherence.

The role requires NEC knowledge, a Journeyman license, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Expect lifting up to 50 lbs, shift work including weekends during peak production, and use of SAP/PLC systems.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or license.
• Ability to read and interpret NEC codes.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive company vehicle.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning company apps.
• Able to work outdoors/indoors in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to health and safety and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and inspections following guidelines.
• Review and assist program leaders with electrical safety program to ensure adherence.
• Follow safety procedures including OSHA, PSM, and Corteva’s safety policies.
• Recommend improvements to electrical programs or add new devices/hardware.
• Handle various other duties as assigned.
