Job summary

ProFrac is seeking an industrial maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated control systems across major oil & gas sites. You will work with PLCs, HMIs, and electrical components, performing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as required.

Candidate should have a strong machine electrical background, be capable of reading prints, and be willing to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays. OT and outdoor conditions are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years combined schooling and industrial experience required.
• Strong machine electrical background and I/O knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical prints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and Allen Bradley RS 5000.
• Experience with HMI programming, preferably Wonderware.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify and repair automated industrial control equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, ladders, EIO and electrical sensors.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, belt scales, and control panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document work.
• Source replacement components from vendors as needed.
• Work overtime and outdoors in various conditions.
