Specialty Granules LLC in Annapolis, MO, is seeking an experienced industrial electrician for installing, maintaining and repairing plant equipment including crushers, conveyors, kilns and compressors. The role requires strong electrical knowledge, welding ability, and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment for hazards, reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, installing wiring, testing equipment, diagnosing faults, and coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor to

Qualifications

Proficient in industrial electrical repair and installation.
Must have the ability to weld and demonstrate knowledge of electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Inspect equipment (tools, cranes and mobile equipment) and work area for hazards and document inspection.
Install, maintain and repair equipment such as motors, panels, generating equipment, lighting circuits, communication systems, elevators, cranes, hoists, heating units, control units, and other related equipment using A.C. and D.C. current ranging from low to high voltage.
Read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams. Use hand, power and measuring tools.
Diagnose and correct trouble in electrical and electronic units and controls.
Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, trucks and cranes as needed.
