Job summary

Quikrete Holdings Inc. in Ocala, FL is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician / Industrial Electrician to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and install electrical equipment in a heavy industrial setting, including three-phase power, motors, VFDs, and control panels.

This role will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on crushers, screens, conveyors, and material handling equipment, read schematics, and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of industrial equipment maintenance experience.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Good organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial three-phase electrical systems, motors, VFDs, starters, control panels, breakers, and power distribution.
• Perform electrical installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and repairs on crushers, screens, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform mechanical repairs, equipment installations, inspections, and general plant maintenance, including welding and fabrication as qualified.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, minimize downtime, and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Follow electrical codes, MSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety policies.
