Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Keasbey, NJ is seeking an Industrial Electrician to support plant operations by repairing and maintaining production lines, extruders and related equipment.

You will diagnose electrical problems, perform preventative maintenance and ensure equipment longevity through proper repairs. Responsibilities include troubleshooting live circuits, wiring devices such as motors, relays, VFDs, photo eyes and controls, participating in changeovers, and verifying performance to

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years hands-on electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to diagnose equipment issues.
Ability to troubleshoot de-energized/live circuits, PLC, HMI, VFD, controls, motors and sensors.
Experience reading schematics/blueprints.

Responsibilities

Investigate, troubleshoot and address machinery problems and implement corrective actions.
Participate in changeovers and ensure efficient, correct execution.
Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment and machines.
Operate and test equipment electrically and mechanically for performance and repairs.
