Job summary

Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. seeks an experienced electrical maintenance technician to service electrical systems across asphalt and aggregate plants in Pennsylvania.

This hourly, non-exempt role operates with indirect supervision and requires readiness for non-traditional hours and weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in industrial electrical work, a high school diploma (technical degree preferred), and MSHA/CPR/First Aid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial electrical experience preferred.
• MSHA certification required.
• CPR/First Aid training required.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct and lead crew as needed to accomplish small projects.
• Install, maintain, diagnose and repair motors.
• Read blue prints (I/O list).
• Install and diagnose control wiring.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot medium voltage equipment.
• Perform conduit bending and all other forms of wiring practices.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain all types of motor controllers.
• Troubleshoot basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.
• Frequently work more than 40 hours per week and non-traditional hours including night shift, Saturdays and occasionally Sundays.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
