Job summary

MSD Malaysia is seeking an Electrician to install, operate, maintain, and repair electrical power and lighting distribution systems in an industrial setting. You will work from CAD drawings and schematics, troubleshoot high and low voltage equipment, and ensure safety compliance and quality workmanship.

Requires 5+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience, high school diploma, and familiarity with NEC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in electrical installation and repair in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and practices.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC) and ability to read drawings/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain or alter electrical services, equipment and controls.
• Work with high and low voltage systems, including transformers and generators.
• Follow CAD drawings and schematics to install and modify systems.
• Maintain safe and efficient work areas and report hazards.
